Have you ever felt that uncomfortable weight that failure brings, along with all the self-doubt and heavy-hearted guilt for your sin? Imagine, now, how Peter felt when he failed to live up to his claim to emphatically never deny Jesus even if he had to die with Him. How his heart must have ached! Indeed, he wept bitterly over it, and so do we when our character proves to be less than noble. Beloved, please be encouraged when you now consider Peter's faith & God's unfailing & sufficient grace!
